What is the best proxy for Vietnam?

Short answerThe best proxy for Vietnam is a dedicated 4G/5G port on Viettel, VinaPhone or MobiFone for app work such as Zalo, or a residential IP on Viettel, VNPT or FPT Telecom broadband for Shopee VN, Tiki and Lazada VN data. How much does a proxy for Vietnam cost?

A dedicated Vietnamese 4G/5G port costs $3 for one day, $22.50 for seven days and $59.25 for 30 days at Jade Proxies. Vietnam belongs to the South and Southeast Asia zone, with India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Pakistan, the lower of the two Jade Proxies port price zones.

Port planVietnam (South and Southeast Asia zone)Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore
1 day$3$4.50
7 days$22.50 ($3.21/day)$29 ($4.14/day)
30 days$59.25 ($1.98/day)$89.25 ($2.98/day)

Our price grid shows that the 30-day Vietnam port costs $30 less than its East Asian equivalent: $89.25 − $59.25 = $30. Residential traffic has no zone price: a Vietnamese GB costs the same as a Japanese one, from $1.50 for 1 GB to $0.50/GB from 100 GB. Rotating mobile data costs $0.90/GB. The complete grid is on the pricing page.

Which Vietnamese networks do the IPs come from?

Dedicated ports run on SIMs from Vietnam's three main mobile carriers, Viettel, VinaPhone and MobiFone; residential IPs come from home broadband on Viettel, VNPT and FPT Telecom. Viettel and VNPT run both fixed and mobile networks: VinaPhone is VNPT's mobile brand, so a VNPT home line and a VinaPhone SIM belong to the same group.

Residential city targeting covers Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang and Haiphong. Jade Proxies offers country and city targeting on every plan; ASN targeting at no extra cost; city availability varies. Vietnam's code in the username is vn: a Hanoi request uses USERNAME-country-vn-city-hanoi. Ports are sold per country; dedicated ports are subject to stock per country and carrier; a port not delivered within 24 hours is credited back in full.

Which Vietnamese platforms need a local IP?

Vietnamese marketplaces, search engines and apps show local prices, rankings and content to visitors in Vietnam, so research on them needs a Vietnamese IP. The main targets:

  • Shopee VN, Tiki and Lazada VN: public prices, promotions and search ranking by category; the Shopee and Lazada guide covers request rates and rotation settings.
  • Coc Coc: the Vietnamese browser with its own search engine, tracked alongside google.com.vn for SEO.
  • Zalo: checking how a Zalo Official Account appears to Vietnamese users, and managing your own or clients' official accounts within Zalo's rules.
  • Ad verification: which display and in-app ads a viewer in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi is served.

Account farming, bulk account creation and fake engagement are forbidden by the acceptable use policy, whatever the country.

Should you choose a port or residential IPs in Vietnam?

Choose a port when an app or platform must see one Vietnamese carrier IP for hours or days, and residential IPs when you collect web data across many pages. The table maps common tasks to the right plan.

Task in VietnamBest fitJade Proxies plan
Price monitoring on Shopee VN, Tiki, Lazada VNResidential, rotating$6.60 for 10 GB
Coc Coc and Google rank tracking by cityResidential, city targeting$1.50 for a 1 GB test
Zalo and app QA on a carrier networkDedicated port$3 a day
Many short requests across carrier IPsRotating mobile, per GB$0.90/GB

A port is billed per day, not per GB, under fair use (the carrier may slow or pause very heavy use). Its IP changes when you decide: new IP on demand by rotation link or API call, at most once every 30 seconds, or on an automatic timer from every 2 minutes to every 24 hours. The broader trade-offs are in residential vs mobile proxies for Asia.

How does Jade Proxies compare with Vietnamese proxy shops?

Vietnamese proxy shops charge less for Vietnamese IPs; Jade Proxies differs on payment, terms and regional reach. On 5 October 2026, mProxy.vn listed 4G/5G proxies on Viettel, MobiFone and VinaPhone at 15,000 VND a day (about $0.58) or 240,000 VND for 30 days (about $9.25), and Netihot listed VinaPhone 4G at 2,000 VND a day, each on its own pricing page. Amounts are converted at 25,949 VND per USD (5 October 2026).

Those shops sell in dong and take top-ups after login. Jade Proxies sells in crypto with no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy, publishes its refund rule, answers support requests within 12 hours, 7 days a week, and runs one balance across Vietnam and twelve other Asian countries. A buyer who needs only Vietnamese IPs at the lowest daily price is better served by a local shop; a buyer who works across several Asian markets, or who pays in crypto, fits Jade Proxies.

What are the limits of Jade Proxies for Vietnam?

Jade Proxies has three limits in Vietnam:

  1. Higher price than local shops. The daily port price is several times what Vietnamese shops list in dong.
  2. Stock per carrier. A Viettel, VinaPhone or MobiFone port can be out of stock on a given day; a port not delivered within 24 hours is credited back in full.
  3. Data only. A port gives proxy (data) access only: no SMS, no calls, no direct access to the SIM card or the device.
