The limits of coverage are fixed: mainland China, North Korea and Iran are not sold; sanctioned countries and regions are blocked. The carriers in the table belong to the dedicated 4G/5G mobile ports; residential IPs belong to the home internet provider of each household. How much do Asian residential proxies cost?

Asian residential proxies cost $1.50 for 1 GB at Jade Proxies, $6.60 for 10 GB ($0.66/GB) and $0.50/GB from 100 GB, whatever the country. Traffic never expires, so GB bought for one project stay available for the next.

The pricing page explains how a GB is counted, how the crypto balance works and how these prices compare with eight other providers.

How do you target a city, rotate IPs or keep a sticky session?

You set the country, the city and the session in the proxy username, following the format USERNAME-country-{cc}-city-{city}-session-{id}-ttl-{minutes}. The gateway reads each part as an instruction:

Username partExampleEffect
country-{cc}country-jpExit IP in Japan (two-letter country code)
city-{city}city-tokyoExit IP in Tokyo; city name in lowercase, without spaces
session-{id}session-a1b2Keeps one IP for every connection that uses this ID
ttl-{minutes}ttl-10Session length in minutes, up to 30

Targeting options: country and city targeting on every plan; ASN targeting at no extra cost; city availability varies. Without a session part, the username rotates: each new connection gets an IP from the pool, usually a different one; to get a new IP on every request, send one request per connection (turn off keep-alive). With a session part, the IP is kept up to 30 minutes (the IP can change earlier). Give each task that needs its own identity a fresh session ID and reuse it until the task ends; the rotating vs sticky guide covers session length per target.

How do you connect to the Jade Proxies gateway?

You connect to gw.jadeproxies.com on port 7777 for HTTP and HTTPS or port 7778 for SOCKS5, and authenticate with your proxy username and password. Three requests show the main cases:

# Username format: USERNAME-country-{cc}-city-{city}-session-{id}-ttl-{minutes}

# 1. Rotating IP anywhere in Japan
curl -x http://gw.jadeproxies.com:7777 -U "USERNAME-country-jp:PASSWORD" https://ipinfo.io/json

# 2. Sticky Tokyo IP for 10 minutes (session a1b2)
curl -x http://gw.jadeproxies.com:7777 -U "USERNAME-country-jp-city-tokyo-session-a1b2-ttl-10:PASSWORD" https://ipinfo.io/json

# 3. The same session over SOCKS5, with DNS resolved by the proxy
curl --socks5-hostname gw.jadeproxies.com:7778 -U "USERNAME-country-jp-city-tokyo-session-a1b2-ttl-10:PASSWORD" https://ipinfo.io/json

The gateway supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. For access control, Jade Proxies offers username and password, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs); sub-users with their own credentials and traffic cap; API keys you can revoke at any time. Code for scripts is in how to use a proxy with Python requests.

How do Asian residential proxy providers differ?

Most providers that sell Asian residential IPs include city targeting in the price, so the differences that decide a purchase are traffic expiry, identity checks and payment. According to the Jade Proxies Asia city price index, 7 of the 8 other providers read on 18 October 2026 include city targeting at no stated surcharge; DataImpulse is the exception and bills city-targeted traffic at double its standard rate.

Conditions were read on each provider's own pricing and documentation pages on 18 October 2026. Published IP counts do not settle the choice either: the figures Oxylabs and IPRoyal list for India and Indonesia are country totals of addresses seen over time, not devices online in a city now. Jade Proxies publishes no IP counts. Prices per GB at each volume are in the Asia residential proxy price index.

What are the limits of Jade Proxies residential proxies?

Jade Proxies residential proxies have four limits to weigh before buying:

  1. City coverage varies. Every listed city can be requested, but city availability depends on the home devices online at the time. Test the exact city you need with the 1 GB plan before buying volume.
  2. Sessions are short. A sticky IP lasts up to 30 minutes and ends earlier if the home device goes offline. Work that needs one IP for hours belongs on a dedicated mobile port.
  3. No published performance figures. Jade Proxies publishes no pool size, latency or success rate; a test on your own target is the reliable measure.
  4. Crypto only. There is no card, PayPal or bank transfer option, so a buyer who must pay by card needs another provider.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a separate plan for each Asian country?

No. Every residential plan covers all 13 countries, and you pick the country in the username for each connection. A 10 GB plan can be split between Japan, Vietnam and India in any proportion.

Can I target a specific ISP such as NTT or JioFiber?

Yes, through ASN targeting, which costs nothing extra. Availability varies by network, as it does by city, so test the network on your target before a large job.

Can several team members share one plan?

Yes. You can create sub-users with their own credentials and a traffic cap each, so every person or script draws on the plan within its own limit. API keys can be revoked at any time.

How quickly can I start after paying?

Access is delivered once the payment is confirmed on-chain. The account number you receive at checkout is your login, and adding an email is optional.

Do residential proxies work for mobile apps?

They work for many apps, but social and mobile-first platforms trust carrier IPs more than home broadband. For those targets, a 4G/5G mobile proxy is the stronger choice; the residential vs mobile comparison explains the trade-off.
