How much do residential proxies cost in Asia in 2026?
Short answerIn October 2026, a single GB of residential proxy traffic for Asian countries cost a median $3.50, and 1 TB a median $1.50 per GB, in a price index of eight self-service providers read on 18 October. Jade Proxies, which publishes the index, charges $1.50 for 1 GB and $0.50/GB from 100 GB, city targeting included.
How was the index built?
The index compares the public self-service price of rotating residential traffic at eight providers and Jade Proxies, at five volumes: 1 GB, 10 GB, 50 GB, 100 GB and 1 TB. The Jade Proxies Research Desk read each provider's own pricing and documentation pages on 18 October 2026, without logging in.
- Providers: DataImpulse, ProxyWing, Rayobyte, Geonode, Webshare, Decodo, Oxylabs and IPRoyal, all self-service, all targeting Asian countries and cities.
- What counts: the price in USD before tax for that volume. Coupons and first-order discounts are left out; a displayed discount that applies to every buyer is kept. Where a provider bills city targeting extra, the city rate is used.
- Left out: providers that price by credits or whose prices could not be read that day. NetNut is excluded: its site showed a seizure notice when read on 5 October 2026.
- Jade Proxies: figures from its own price grid on 29 October 2026.
What does a residential proxy GB cost in Asia at each volume?

| IPRoyal | $7.35 | $5.51 | — | — | — |
Geonode, Webshare and Oxylabs prices are monthly subscriptions, as are Decodo's from 10 GB. DataImpulse sells from 5 GB and bills city traffic at double its $1.00 base rate; Oxylabs sells from 5 GB at $6.00/GB; Geonode from 10 GB. Webshare's figures are its displayed discount on a $7.00 list price. IPRoyal publishes no price between 10 GB and 10 TB.
What is the median price of a residential GB?
The median price per GB falls from $3.50 at 1 GB to $1.50 at 1 TB across the eight providers. According to Jade Proxies's price index, $3.50 was the median price of a single GB among the 5 of 8 providers that sell one.
| Volume | Providers selling it | Median per GB | Range | Jade Proxies |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 GB | 5 of 8 | $3.50 | $2.50–$7.35 | $1.50/GB |
| 10 GB | 8 of 8 | $3.13 | $0.79–$5.51 | $0.66/GB |
| 50 GB | 7 of 8 | $2.00 | $0.69–$4.00 | $0.52/GB |
| 100 GB | 7 of 8 | $2.00 | $0.65–$4.00 | $0.50/GB |
| 1 TB | 7 of 8 | $1.50 | $0.50–$2.50 | $0.50/GB |
The medians stay the same with DataImpulse's base rate instead of its city rate.
How much cheaper does a GB get when you buy more?
Between 1 GB and 1 TB, the per-GB price falls 40% to 80% at the four providers that sell both volumes, a median of 54%:
- ProxyWing: $2.50 → $1.50 (−40%)
- Decodo: $4.00 → $2.00 (−50%)
- Webshare: $3.50 → $1.50 (−57%)
- Rayobyte: $3.50 → $0.70 (−80%)
Between 10 GB and 1 TB, the cut runs from 20% (DataImpulse city rate) to 80% (Rayobyte) across seven providers, a median of 43%. At Jade Proxies the price falls 67% between 1 GB and 100 GB ($1.50/GB → $0.50/GB) and stays at $0.50/GB up to 1 TB, so the volume discount arrives earlier.
Does city targeting or the country change the price?
City targeting costs nothing extra at 7 of 8 providers; DataImpulse bills city traffic at double its base rate, $2.00/GB instead of $1.00. The country matters little: on provider pages read on 13 October 2026, 9 of 10 providers with readable prices charged Japan like any other country.
SOAX, outside this index because it sells credits, is the exception: on 5 October 2026 its pay-as-you-go rate was $5.00/GB for Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan, $4.00 for India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Pakistan, and $2.00 for the Philippines and Bangladesh. Jade Proxies charges the same per GB in all 13 countries it sells, with country and city targeting on every plan; ASN targeting at no extra cost; city availability varies.
Which conditions change the real price?
Expiry, identity checks and payment methods change what a used GB really costs, and they vary more than list prices. Conditions read on 18 October 2026:
| Provider | City targeting | Traffic expiry | KYC | Crypto |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jade Proxies | Included | Never | None | Yes |
| DataImpulse | Double rate | Never | On suspicion; resellers | Yes |
| ProxyWing | Included | Never | "No KYC" | Yes |
| Rayobyte | Included | Never (pay-as-you-go) | On unusual use | Not stated |
| Geonode | When matching IPs exist | Rolls over until cancelled | Every account | Not stated |
| Webshare | Included | Monthly reset | Restricted sites or suspicion | No |
| Decodo | Included | End of billing cycle | Not stated on pricing pages | Yes |
| Oxylabs | Included | Monthly | Every customer | Not stated |
| IPRoyal | Included | Never | Conflicting statements | Yes |
- Expiry: 4 of 8 sell traffic that never expires; the other 4 sell monthly plans whose traffic resets, or rolls over only while the subscription runs.
- Identity checks: 2 of 8 check every customer (Geonode, Oxylabs); ProxyWing states no KYC; the other five check on suspicion or unusual use, for resellers or restricted sites, or publish no rule or conflicting ones.
- Crypto: 4 of 8 accept it on the pages read; Webshare does not.
- All four together: only 1 of 8, ProxyWing, combines non-expiring traffic, no KYC, crypto and city targeting at no surcharge, the four conditions Jade Proxies offers.
Where does Jade Proxies stand in the index?
Jade Proxies had the lowest per-GB price of the sample at 1, 10, 50 and 100 GB, and Geonode's monthly plan matched its $0.50/GB at 1 TB. Two limits are real. The $25 minimum top-up is a larger first payment than the smallest regular plan at 6 of 8 providers, from $2.50 at ProxyWing. And the sample is not the whole market: Evomi listed $0.49/GB on a 100 GB monthly plan without rollover (5 October 2026), Databay Flex $0.55/GB from 25 GB with 31-day validity (13 October 2026), and Geonode "from $0.27/GB" at 100 TB. The full Jade Proxies grid is on the pricing page, and the cheap vs premium comparison explains when a lower list price costs more in practice.
What are the limits of this study?
The index measures list prices and published conditions, nothing else:
- No performance data. Speed, success rate and pool size were not tested, and provider IP counts are not compared.
- One reading per figure. Prices change often; each update keeps the reading date next to the figures.
- Self-service only. Enterprise contracts, coupons and trials are excluded.
- City coverage untested. "City targeting included" says nothing about which cities have IPs online.
- Publisher in the table. Jade Proxies compiled the index and appears in it; its row comes from its own grid, not a third party.
Mobile ports and per-GB mobile data are covered in the Asia mobile proxy price index.
