Use case
What is the best proxy for ad verification in Asia?
Short answerThe best proxy for ad verification in Asia depends on where the ad runs: a city-targeted residential IP for web and search ads, and a dedicated 4G/5G port on the right carrier for in-app ads targeted by network. Jade Proxies offers both in 13 Asian countries, with mobile ports from $3/day and residential traffic from $0.50/GB.
Should you use residential or mobile proxies for ad verification?
Use residential proxies to verify web, display and search ads, and mobile proxies to verify in-app ads and any campaign targeted by carrier. The proxy must reproduce the signal the campaign targets: a city for a geo-fenced web campaign, a carrier for an in-app campaign bought on mobile networks.
| Ad format | Targeting signals to reproduce | Proxy to use | Jade Proxies plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Display and video ads on websites | Country, city, ISP | Rotating residential, city-targeted | From $4.95 for 5 GB |
| Search ads (Google, Naver, Yahoo! JAPAN) | Country, city, language | Rotating residential | From $4.95 for 5 GB |
| In-app ads in games and apps | Country, carrier, connection type | Dedicated 4G/5G port on the carrier | $3 per day, $4.50 in East Asia |
| Social ads on TikTok, Instagram, LINE | Country, carrier, device | Dedicated 4G/5G port | $3 per day |
| Affiliate links and landing-page redirects | Country, IP type | Residential plus rotating mobile | $0.90/GB for mobile data |
The residential vs mobile comparison covers the general trade-off; the rest of this page applies it to ad checks.
What is carrier-level ad verification?
Carrier-level ad verification means loading an ad from an IP on one named mobile network, for example AIS against True in Thailand or Jio against Airtel in India, to confirm that a campaign targeted by carrier reaches that network and no other. Mobile ad platforms let buyers target by carrier and connection type, and only an IP on that carrier's network shows the result.
A Jade Proxies dedicated port runs on a local SIM, so the ad server sees the carrier's own network. Carriers place many phones behind shared addresses through CGNAT, which is why a carrier IP reads as ordinary phone traffic. Dedicated ports are available on these networks:
| Country | Main cities | Mobile carriers | 4G/5G port from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Japan | Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama, Nagoya, Sapporo | NTT Docomo, au (KDDI), SoftBank, Rakuten Mobile | $4.50/day |
| South Korea | Seoul, Busan, Incheon, Daegu | SK Telecom, KT, LG U+ | $4.50/day |
| Taiwan | Taipei, New Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung | Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile, FarEasTone | $4.50/day |
| Hong Kong | Kowloon, Hong Kong Island, Sha Tin | China Mobile Hong Kong, csl (HKT), 3 Hong Kong, SmarTone | $4.50/day |
| Singapore | Singapore | Singtel, StarHub, M1 | $4.50/day |
| India | Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata | Jio, Airtel, Vi (Vodafone Idea), BSNL | $3/day |
| Indonesia | Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan | Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, XLSMART | $3/day |
| Vietnam | Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Haiphong | Viettel, VinaPhone, MobiFone | $3/day |
| Thailand | Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Nonthaburi, Hat Yai | AIS, True (TrueMove H, dtac), NT | $3/day |
| Philippines | Manila, Quezon City, Cebu City, Davao City | Globe, Smart (PLDT), DITO | $3/day |
| Malaysia | Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, George Town, Kuching | CelcomDigi, Maxis, U Mobile | $3/day |
| Bangladesh | Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna | Grameenphone, Robi, Banglalink | $3/day |
| Pakistan | Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad | Jazz, Ufone, Zong | $3/day |
Residential IPs from $0.50/GB in every country listed. Dedicated ports subject to stock per carrier.
At Jade Proxies, dedicated ports are subject to stock per country and carrier; a port not delivered within 24 hours is credited back in full. The rotating mobile pool billed per GB targets by country only, so it confirms a country but not a carrier. The mobile proxy page explains both products.
How do you verify a geo-fenced campaign?
Verify a geo-fenced campaign from a residential IP in the fenced city, since IP-based city targeting is what the ad server reads. Add the city to the username, for example USERNAME-country-id-city-jakarta-session-ad1-ttl-15; Jade Proxies offers country and city targeting on every plan; ASN targeting at no extra cost; city availability varies.
Run each check as one short flow:
- Define the matrix. List country × city × carrier × device for every line item you need to confirm.
- Hold one IP per check. A sticky session, which lasts up to 30 minutes (the IP can change earlier), keeps the impression, the click-through and the landing page on one address.
- Record the evidence. Save a screenshot, the creative ID, the landing URL and the full redirect chain with timestamps.
- Rotate between checks. On residential, open a new session ID; on a dedicated port you get a new IP on demand by rotation link or API call, at most once every 30 seconds, or on an automatic timer from every 2 minutes to every 24 hours.
One limit applies to apps: in-app geofences often use the phone's GPS, not its IP. A proxy changes the IP only, so for GPS-fenced campaigns it confirms the carrier and country, not the exact position.
How much does ad verification in Asia cost?
A one-day carrier check in all 13 countries costs $46.50, and most single-market checks cost under $10. Our price grid shows the arithmetic: 8 South and Southeast Asian ports × $3 = $24, plus 5 East Asian ports × $4.50 = $22.50. Mobile ports are billed per day, not per GB, under fair use (the carrier may slow or pause very heavy use).
| Verification plan | Product | Calculation | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Launch-day check on 3 Thai carriers | Dedicated ports, 1 day | 3 × $3 | $9 |
| One carrier in each of the 13 countries, 1 day | Dedicated ports, 1 day | 8 × $3 + 5 × $4.50 | $46.50 |
| Monthly in-app monitoring on Jio and Airtel | Dedicated ports, 30 days | 2 × $59.25 | $118.50 |
| Weekly web-ad sweep in 20 cities, 5 GB a month (assumption) | Residential, 5 GB | 1 × $4.95 | $4.95 |
| Country-level spot checks, 2 GB | Rotating mobile | 2 × $0.90/GB | $1.80 |
The 5 GB figure for the web sweep is an assumption for planning, not a measurement: measure your own pages on a 1 GB test first. Full prices are on the pricing page.

What should an ad verification check never do?
A verification check should never inflate the numbers it measures. Keep samples small, never click competitors' ads, and never run traffic to generate impressions or conversions: that is click fraud, and the acceptable use policy forbids it. Verification views are served like any other impression, so a check plan of a few loads per line item and location is enough.
Legitimate uses include confirming geo and carrier targeting, catching creatives that run in the wrong country, spotting malvertising or cloaked redirects, and checking that affiliates send traffic to approved landing pages.
What are the limits of proxies for ad verification?
Proxies reproduce network location, not a device's full identity. Ad servers also personalise by cookies, device IDs and frequency caps, so use a clean browser profile or a reset test device per check. A dedicated port gives proxy (data) access only: no SMS, no calls, no direct access to the SIM card or the device. Rotation is not instant: each rotation reconnects the port to the carrier and usually takes 5–15 seconds. City targeting applies to residential traffic; dedicated ports are chosen by country and carrier.
Frequently asked questions
Can a proxy verify in-app ads?
Yes, when the campaign targets by country or carrier. Route a test phone or emulator through a dedicated 4G/5G port with HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, and the ad server sees that carrier's network. GPS-based geofences still read the device's own location.
Which carriers can I choose?
The main networks of each country, such as NTT Docomo, au and SoftBank in Japan, Telkomsel and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison in Indonesia, or Globe and Smart in the Philippines. At Jade Proxies, dedicated ports are subject to stock per country and carrier; a port not delivered within 24 hours is credited back in full.
How fast can I change the IP between checks?
A dedicated port gets a new IP on demand by rotation link or API call, at most once every 30 seconds, or on an automatic timer from every 2 minutes to every 24 hours; each rotation reconnects the port to the carrier and usually takes 5–15 seconds. A residential session changes IP as soon as you send a new session ID.
Residential or mobile for a city-fenced campaign in Jakarta?
Residential. City targeting works on residential traffic with city-jakarta in the username, while dedicated ports are chosen by country and carrier. Add a Telkomsel port when the same campaign also targets by carrier.
Do I need to verify my identity to buy ad verification proxies?
No. Jade Proxies requires no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy, and you pay in BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL and LTC from a balance with a $25 minimum top-up.
