## How does Jade Proxies report incidents?

Each incident is posted on this page with its start time, the components and countries it affects, updates while it lasts and the time it ended. Planned maintenance is posted before it starts.

## Why can one country or carrier fail while the rest works?

Residential and mobile IPs come from upstream partner networks, country by country. A carrier outage, a regional network problem or a stock shortage on one carrier can affect one country or one carrier without touching the rest of the service. Dedicated ports depend on stock: dedicated ports are subject to stock per country and carrier; a port not delivered within 24 hours is credited back in full.

## How do I test the gateway myself?

Send one request through the gateway with your own credentials and compare the exit IP with the country you asked for:

```bash
curl -x "http://USERNAME-country-jp:PASSWORD@gw.jadeproxies.com:7777" https://api.ipify.org
```

If the command returns an IP, the gateway works for that country. A `407` error means the username or password is wrong; a timeout on one country only usually means that country has no IP available at that moment. Send the command and its output to support@jadeproxies.com if the problem stays.

## What happens to my plan during an incident?

Residential and rotating mobile traffic never expires, so an outage does not use up your GB. For refunds, within 72 hours, a residential or rotating-mobile plan is credited back to your balance if you used less than 20% of its traffic and no more than 1 GB; a plan that does not work and that support cannot fix within 24 hours is credited back in full; the full rules are in the [refund policy](https://jadeproxies.com/refund-policy/).
