**Key figure: 5.3×** — According to Jade Proxies' reading of their pricing pages on 18 October 2026, Decodo's 10 GB city-targeted rate ($3.50/GB) is 5.3 times Jade Proxies' 10 GB rate ($0.66/GB), and Oxylabs' rate ($5.00/GB) is 7.6 times. ## What do cheap and premium Asian proxies have in common?

They sell the same product: rotating residential IPs from consumer ISPs, billed per GB, with city targeting included. Decodo states city targeting "at no extra charge" and Oxylabs includes it in its residential plans, per their pricing pages read on 18 October 2026. Jade Proxies offers country and city targeting on every plan; ASN targeting at no extra cost; city availability varies.

Jade Proxies also states where its IPs come from: residential and mobile IPs are resold from established upstream partner networks; the upstream provider confirms that device owners opt in and can opt out.

## Is the IP quality the same?

No benchmark in our sources compares all three on Asian targets, so quality has to be tested, not assumed. Proxyway's 2026 Asia provider list and AIMultiple's June 2026 Japan benchmark both include Decodo and Oxylabs (read 5 October 2026); none of the benchmarks we read includes Jade Proxies, and Jade Proxies publishes no success-rate figures. The reliable test is your own: run 1 GB ($1.50) against your target and compare the block rate with your current provider.

## How do prices and minimum orders compare?

Jade Proxies is cheaper per GB at every volume, while Decodo needs less cash for a first purchase. City-targeted prices per GB:

| Provider | 1 GB | 10 GB | 100 GB | 1 TB | Smallest purchase |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jade Proxies | $1.50/GB | $0.66/GB | $0.50/GB | $0.50/GB | $25 top-up; 1 GB plan $1.50 |
| Decodo | $4.00 | $3.50 | $2.75 | $2.00 | $4.00 for 1 GB, pay-as-you-go |
| Oxylabs | $6.00 | $5.00 | $4.00 | $2.50 | $30 for 5 GB, monthly |

Public self-service prices before tax, per each provider's own pricing page read on 18 October 2026; smallest purchases read on 13 October 2026. Jade Proxies figures come from its price grid on 29 October 2026.

Our comparison shows that Decodo's 10 GB rate is 5.3 times ours ($3.50 ÷ $0.66/GB) and Oxylabs' rate 7.6 times ($5.00 ÷ $0.66/GB). The gap narrows at 1 TB, where Decodo charges $2.00/GB and Oxylabs $2.50/GB against $0.50/GB.

The cash minimum cuts the other way. Jade Proxies' $1.50 plan sits behind a $25 minimum top-up, so the first payment is larger than Decodo's $4.00 single GB, though smaller than Oxylabs' $30 entry plan.

## Does the traffic expire?

At Oxylabs and Decodo, monthly-plan traffic expires; at Jade Proxies, traffic never expires. Oxylabs' self-service agreement lets you use purchased traffic for the remainder of the subscription period (read 5 October 2026), and Decodo's monthly plans end with the billing cycle (18 October 2026).

Expiry changes the real price of irregular work. Buy Decodo's 10 GB monthly plan ($35) and use 4 GB, and each GB used costs $8.75. Buy Jade Proxies' 10 GB plan ($6.60) and use 4 GB, and the other 6 GB stay on the account for the next project.

## Do Oxylabs and Decodo require KYC?

Oxylabs does: its KYC page says every customer answers a KYC questionnaire (read 18 October 2026). Decodo states no KYC rule on its pricing pages (read 18 October 2026). Jade Proxies asks for none: no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy.

No KYC is a data-minimisation choice: an ID document that is never collected cannot leak. It does not loosen the rules. The [acceptable use policy](https://jadeproxies.com/acceptable-use/) bans fraud, spam and account takeover. Log policy: no logs of request content, full URLs or page data; connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) kept up to 30 days for abuse and billing, then deleted. The [no-KYC proxy explainer](https://jadeproxies.com/what-is-a-no-kyc-proxy/) covers the trade-offs.

## Do they charge extra for Asian countries or cities?

No: Oxylabs, Decodo and Jade Proxies charge Japan, India or Vietnam at the same per-GB rate and add no city surcharge. Surcharges exist elsewhere in the market. DataImpulse bills city-targeted traffic at double its $1.00/GB base rate (read 18 October 2026), and SOAX prices by country tier, $2.00 to $5.00 per GB on its Sandbox plan (read 13 October 2026), with Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan in its top tier (read 5 October 2026).

## What do Oxylabs and Decodo offer that Jade Proxies does not?

They offer wider coverage, finer targeting, card payment, free trials and third-party benchmark coverage:

| Feature | Oxylabs | Decodo | Jade Proxies |
|---|---|---|---|
| Locations | 195 | 195+ | 13 Asian countries |
| Finest targeting | State and ZIP code | Prefecture level in Japan | City and ASN |
| Payment | Card, PayPal, Alipay; crypto not stated | Card, PayPal and crypto | Crypto only |

| Third-party benchmarks | Proxyway, AIMultiple | Proxyway, AIMultiple | None in our sources |
| SLA terms | Not stated | Not stated | No uptime SLA published |

Provider pages read on 5 October 2026 (trial terms from their mobile proxy pages), except Oxylabs' India IP count and crypto status, read on 18 October 2026.

What Jade Proxies offers in return: username and password, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs); sub-users with their own credentials and traffic cap; API keys you can revoke at any time; support replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week; and plans that fail are credited back under the [refund policy](https://jadeproxies.com/refund-policy/).

## When is a premium provider the better choice?

A premium provider is the better choice when the work goes beyond Asia or beyond what a prepaid crypto account covers:

- You need IPs outside the 13 Asian countries, or state and ZIP-level targeting.
- Your company must pay by card or invoice, or prefers a provider that runs KYC on every customer.
- Procurement requires a free trial or a third-party benchmark before purchase.

Jade Proxies fits Asia-only scraping, SERP and ad checks, irregular volumes that must not expire, and buyers who pay in crypto without sending ID. The [ranked list of Asian providers](https://jadeproxies.com/best-asian-proxy-providers-2026/) and the [provider data table](https://jadeproxies.com/asian-proxy-providers-compared/) extend this comparison to nine providers; our plans are on the [pricing page](https://jadeproxies.com/pricing/).

## Frequently asked questions

### Are cheap Asian proxies lower quality?

Price alone does not show IP quality: Oxylabs, Decodo and Jade Proxies all sell residential IPs from consumer ISPs. The measurable differences are price, expiry, KYC and coverage, so test block rates on your own target with 1 GB before buying volume.

### Is Decodo cheaper than Oxylabs?

Yes, at every volume read on 18 October 2026: $4.00 against $6.00 per GB at 1 GB, $3.50 against $5.00 at 10 GB and $2.00 against $2.50 at 1 TB, per their own pricing pages.

### Do Oxylabs or Decodo accept crypto?

Decodo does, per its pricing page read on 18 October 2026; Oxylabs' pages read that day do not state a crypto option. Jade Proxies accepts only crypto: BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL and LTC.

### Can I switch from Oxylabs or Decodo without rewriting my code?

Yes, if your client speaks HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5. Change the host to `gw.jadeproxies.com`, the port to 7777 for HTTP or 7778 for SOCKS5, and the username to the format `USERNAME-country-{cc}-city-{city}-session-{id}-ttl-{minutes}`.

### How do I test Jade Proxies before buying volume?

Buy the 1 GB plan for $1.50 and point it at your target from the countries you need. Unused traffic stays on the account. The refund rule: within 72 hours, a residential or rotating-mobile plan is credited back to your balance if you used less than 20% of its traffic and no more than 1 GB; a plan that does not work and that support cannot fix within 24 hours is credited back in full.
